Two scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each are available to current students attending Penn State University. The awards are based on financial need and academic performance and renewal is not guaranteed.
Applicants must be fully admitted and a full-time student in a degree-granting program of study at any Penn State campus as of the Fall 2013 semester.
Applicants may be in enrolled in an Associate or Bachelor’s degree program of study.
Applicants must be in “good standing” according to University standards and regulations.
Applicants must be a resident of Philadelphia County.

Over 62% of the jobs in Philadelphia require some type of post-secondary education or technical training. There is an obvious need for post-secondary education to compete globally, but during a time of increasing tuition rates and higher demand for financial aid. The Chapter recognizes this challenging time and has committed to raising $50,000 over the next five years to support eager new Penn State students from the Philadelphia area!
