Thank You, Volunteers!
The Philadelphia Chapter would like to send a special THANK YOU to our 2011-2012 service teams and host organizations. Your service has helped to make Philly great and exemplify the true Penn State spirit.
Together, our teams (along with other amazing teams throughout the city), sorted and packed 24,897 pounds of food for Philabundance, painted murals at Germantown High School Promise Academy, wrote letters to our troops, and cleaned, weeded, unlittered, planted and overall beautified Chew Avenue, Awbury Arboretum, the Schuylkill River banks and the Fairmount Water Works.
Thank you all for you’re hard work, early hours, dedication, as well as your smiles, jokes, and Penn State stories. Thank you for helping us to help our kids, our neighbors and our city.
For the Glory. For the Kids. For the Community. We are… Penn State.
